People often ask us “Why dogs?” What they want to know is why do we put so much effort into caring for and about dogs. We could spend time and money saving the environment, finding a cure for cancer, or some other worthy cause. But we have decided to focus on dogs, our own and those we help rescue. Here we will list reasons why we think dogs are cool enough to have our support.

Hi, my name is Kara and I work for National Geographic Magazine. I’ve read many of your dog blogs (I have a beagle) and thought you may be interested in our Animal Minds piece— we are looking for pet owners to submit photos and stories of their pets acting intelligently. If you would like more information, check out this link:

Thank you! Email me if you have any questions!

Thanks! As I’m sure you’ve read here, our dogs routinely outsmart us so we’ll certainly contribute something. We’re looking forward to reading Animal Minds – we subscribe to NGM.
Hey guys,
I really like your blog and all your puppies =P Anyway I’ll cut to the chase and was wondering if you would like to exchange links on our blogrolls. My website is puppyguru.com and you can get my email from the contact page if you like. Please let me know, thanks again!
